To create the project shown here, follow the helpful hints and the Delightful Dots™ pattern as outlined in our how-to book Wishes™. For more detailed information on how to create the featured technique and project, or to purchase a copy of Wishes, contact your Close To My Heart Consultant.
- Print the circle templates for circles 5, 7, and 8. Cut out each template.
- Trim the papers according to the paper dimensions on page 53 of Wishes. Cut a 3” x 3” piece of Vanilla Cream cardstock for the stamped accent pieces. Use circle template 8 to create a circle from Smokey Plum cardstock.
- Using Desert Sand, Hollyhock, and Smokey Plum inks, stamp three buttons on the 3” x 3” Vanilla Cream cardstock. Cut out each image.
- Adhere the smallest cut-out button image to a scrap piece of Desert Sand cardstock. Trim around the image, leaving a small border.
- Using Desert Sand ink, stamp the sentiment in the bottom right corner of the card base.
- Using the sponging technique, apply Desert Sand ink to the edges of all paper pieces and the card base.
- Using the sanding technique, rough the surface of piece D and the Smokey Plum circle.
- Assemble the card according to the instructions on page 53.
- Using the piercing tool, create six holes in the top right portion of piece B. Use the needle to thread with hemp.
- Using Liquid Glass, adhere the felt flowers and the cardstock pieces to the top left portion of piece B.
- Attach the ribbon to the left side of the card, securing with a knot in the front.
- Using the piercing tool, make a hole in the cut-out “BFF” image. Use the needle to thread with hemp and secure around the knotted ribbon.
